International Collaboration for Innovation in Food, Health and Genetics

16-09-2025

We have successfully completed the kick-off meeting for the  4Sir2 project, which took place in Warsaw from September 11–12, 2025. We extend our gratitude to all partners for the inspiring discussions, excellent atmosphere, and collective energy for action.

The  4Sir2 project, aimed at advancing the areas of functional food, health, and genetics, has brought together 16 partners from 9 countries: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Latvia, Moldova, Italy, Greece, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. This collaboration will facilitate the achievement of ambitious research and implementation tasks.

Dr.  Ewa Kochańska , RIC Pro-Akademia President as well as the initiator and coordinator of the  4Sir2 project, highlights:
“What makes 4Sir2 truly special is international cooperation and the collaboration of partners from such diverse fields of knowledge. This gives us a real chance to achieve remarkable results.”

The expected benefits of implementing the  4Sir2 project are substantial. It will enhance innovation in the functional food sector, positively impacting public health. Additionally, it will contribute to the economic development of participating countries by creating new opportunities for both industry and the scientific sector.
