How to engage the local community around the circular economy?
On 10 September, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET, the 6th online seminar organized by the NiCE project will take place, titled:
“Building community around multifunctional resource centres.”
One of the speakers will be our representative Katarzyna Korczak, who will present the Polish experience with the Zero-Waste Multicentre in Brzeg Dolny.
During the seminar, participants will learn about pilot projects carried out in Brzeg Dolny (Poland) and Ptuj (Slovenia). The presented examples will show how unused commercial spaces can be transformed into multifunctional centres that support the circular economy. Practical activities – workshops, events, discussion groups, and local initiatives – will also be discussed, providing inspiration and models for replication in other places.
Participation in the seminar is free of charge. The event will be held in English via ZOOM.
