Profile

Dr. Marcin Siedlecki, Head of RIC’s Biomass and Waste Valorisation Laboratory, obtained his MSc from Delft University of Technology in 2003 and PhD from the same university in 2011. He has over 15 years of professional experience in design, programming and operation of process control systems in academia and R&D, and building management systems; design, modification, commissioning and operation of different laboratory test rigs and pilot plants related to energy conversion; consultancy work related to different energy systems, energy efficiency, process automation & measurement, gas analysis; scientific research on supercritical fluids and thermochemical conversion of biomass and other energy conversion processes; participation in European research projects (FP5 HIAL, FP6 CHRISGAS, BIOCELLUS, FP7 GREENSYNGAS, BRISK; FACCE SURPLUS: SUPERVALUE): preparation and leading several international measurement campaigns with project partners. Marcin joined RIC Pro-Akademia in 2016.
