Acta Innovations

Acta Innovations is a scientific journal, published quarterly by Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia, dedicated to applied research on innovative sustainable technologies. Our interest focuses in particular on pilot-scale and full-scale experiences (European Commission TRL 5 or higher) and their economic & social aspects. The overriding idea of Acta Innovations is to promote trans-disciplinarity as one of the key factors contributing to the creation of innovation.

Acta Innovations publishes original papers and critical reviews on the following subjects:

  • Low-carbon economy and its social aspects
  • Biomass and biogas energy
  • Social and economic aspects of all renewable energy sources
  • Wastewater treatment and waste management
  • Energy-efficient buildings
  • Sustainable transport, e-mobility and smart cities
  • Sustainable innovations in materials and/or technologies

The editorial Board accepts articles only in English language, meeting professional and technical conditions described in the information For Authors on the journal's website.

Articles published in Acta Innovations are reviewed in accordance with the procedure recommended by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Acta Innovations does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission charges, page charges, colour charges or any other types of charges.

Acta Innovations is an open access journal (CC BY) which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Acta Innovations allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions.
