XI Bioenergy for the Region Cluster Forum

Forum was attended by our partners from Germany, cluster coordinator, members of deENet network and members of Bioenergy for the Region Cluster.
Event had begun with opening lecture held by Mr. Friedeman Kraft form Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany. He presented German standpoint in the field of Climate policy in context of challenges and opportunities for cooperation with Poland. It should be noted that his lecture provoked vivid discussion regarding ambitious plans of German government to increase participation of renewable energy sources up to 80% in their energy production till 2050.
In the main session of experts from Research and Innovation Center Pro-Akademia presented results of research that was carried out within the framework of the project. Later on Ms. Kirsten Hasberg, presented possibilities of cooperation between local entities, basing on experiences of competence network – deENet. This part of the meeting was closed by Ms Ewa Kochańska who presented conclusions and recommendations for both networks and their members in context of strategic aims of EU policy for years 2014-2020.
After short coffee break second part of the meeting took place, which aimed to present both sides that participated in the project. German guests were represented by:

Last part of the meeting was timing to increase cooperation between different enteties. Therefore participants were divided into smaller interest groups and invited to matchmaking meetings.
