WASTE4H2: Plasma and wastewater treatment - a new approach to hydrogen production
From June 9 to 11, CBI Pro-Akademia expert Dr. Sergii Bespalko took part in the XXIV National Conference on Electronics (KKE XXIV) held in Darlowo on the Baltic Sea. The conference is regularly organized by Gdynia Maritime University.
Among 144 participants representing Poland's leading research institutions, Dr. Bespalko gave a presentation on the latest experimental results from the WASTE4H2 project implemented by CBI Pro-Akademia, funded by the National Center for Research and Development under the INNOGLOBO program.
His talk, titled "Effect of the anode electrode surface on the discharge voltage in the cathodic regime of plasma electrolysis," highlighted key findings on electrode configuration and plasma behavior.
The WASTE4H2 project not only enabled the development of the CombiSonoPlasma process for simultaneous wastewater treatment and hydrogen production, but also provided new information on the physics of plasma formation in the cathodic plasma electrolysis regime.
