Since 26th and 27th of September 2011 a Kick-off meeting within the framework of “Bioenergy for the Region – development of cooperation network between science and economy in the field of renewable energy sources” took place.
Representatives of Bioenergy for the Region Cluster as well as members of German deENet network meet in Kassel at 26th and 27th of September 2011 in order to officially inaugurate the project, which is carried out by Research and Innovation Centre Pro-Akademia. After short presentation of both partners a discussion regarding insight and implementation of different solutions in the field of renewable energy in Poland and Germany was held. During the meeting attention was drawn towards small but crucial political and legislative differences as well as social and economical aspects that affect development of investment regarding green energy in both regions.
Representatives of deENet network (Frank JAckel, Hans G. Weisharr and Jӧrg Wildenburg) presented how branch of renewable energy sources was evolving in Germany and what difficulties were met in past years. Their experience provided many valuable hints for polish side, which is still looking for state of the art solution to deal with social taboo regarding renewable energy.
Last part of the meeting that took place 27th of September was dedicated to technical matters regarding research that will be carried out in both Kassel and Region of Lodz and that will result in elaboration of good practices in the field of science and economy cooperation.
