On 03-04 July 2019 RIC Pro-Akademia's experts participated in the H2020 brokerage session 'Food safety, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, inland water and bio-economy research', which took place in Brussels. The host of the meeting was the European Commission, and the event was organized witin Infodays of Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 (SC2), KET-Biotech Horizon 2020.
The essence of brokerage events were bilateral meetings of people interested in the same topics for R&D projects planned for 2020. In addition to several bilateral meetings between RIC Pro-Akademia representatives and potential project partners, we participated in meetings with representatives of various bodies and supporting initiatives, universities and research centers, enterprises, government and non-governmental organizations involved in research from Europe and beyond, interested in sharing new ideas for projects and finding partners for cooperation.
During the meetings, we presented the results of our ongoing FEEDSCHOOLS project and presented their potential follow-up in the future potential H2020 projects under the ongoing calls within the societal challenge no. 2.
