Energy from fish waste – an opportunity for Brazilian industry

04-12-2018

By the end of June 2019, RIC Pro-Akademia experts will develop technical, marketing and environmental analyzes that will allow the use of organic waste for energy purposes by the Brazilian fish processing company PISCIS. The works will be implemented as part of the Low Carbon Business Action (LCBA) program in Brazil, financed by the European Union.

The LCBA is an initiative aimed at involving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Brazil and 28 Member States of the EU in technology transfer and exchange of experience, supporting enterprises in their transition to low-carbon technologies and efficient use of resources. RIC Pro-Akademia is the only Polish R&D institution that has been registered as a homologated R&D services provider for Brazilian SMEs.
