Energetic study tour in Germany

01-10-2012
Project „Bioenergy for the Region – development of cooperation network between science and economy in the field of renewable energy sources in region of Lodz, with implementation of solutions from German deENet network” aims to increase effectiveness of mutual cooperation regarding renewable energy sources initiated by polish entities, represented by enterprises, scientific institutions and nongovernmental organizations.

Currently European leader in this field is Germany. In this project our German partner was represented by deENet (dezentralen Energie- und Effizienztechnologien Netzwerk), which presents long term experience with renewable energy management.

On 24-27th of September 2012 a study tour to Hessen, where deENet headquarters is located took place. On the first day participants had chance to participate in all-German congress devoted to energetic independent regions. It is one of most important events related to renewable energy sources in Germany. This meeting was a unique opportunity to familiarize with German vision of renewable energy development both from regional and federal perspective. It is noteworthy that during event prizes were handed to those communities that managed to achieve 100% energetic independence.

In addition to debates a exhibition of companies such as SMA, JUWI, Seeger Eng and Viessman which are working in the field of renewable energy took place. This allowed familiarizing with different technical and logistical solutions elaborated by Germany in recent years.

An interesting debate took place during international of the discussion panels, with representatives from USA, Japan and Germany. Both European and American experiences regarding social acceptance of renewable energy sources, problems with breaking through energy monopoly and position of Japan and Germany towards nuclear energy. It was a chance to confront different visions and models of green energy.

Members of Bioenergy for the Region Cluster organized their own exhibition where they had chance carry out matchmaking talks. Herein you can see photo-relation from congress.

On the second day we visited two German companies. At first participants visited was Vissman – worldwide leader in production of heating systems for individual and commercial customers. Vissman is also shining example of responsible company which not only protects the environment but also puts a emphasis on personal development of it’s own employees. It should be noted that Vissman focuses their production on renewable energy, and offers complex solar and heating solutions.
