About our examples of good practices for the future of the Baltic Sea region

09-06-2025

On May 27, 2025, we had the honor of hosting members of the Steering Group of the Hazards Policy Area, part of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. The visit was not only an opportunity to present our work in the fields of environmental, health, and climate protection but also an inspiring forum for discussions about the future — from research commercialization to science-business cooperation and the tangible impact of innovation on the world around us.

The meeting agenda included presentations of the following projects:

BEBOP  – we are developing methods for recovering valuable elements from biomass gasification residues, supporting the circular economy and reducing industrial environmental pressure.

WASTE4H2  – a result of Polish-Omani cooperation, this project focuses on developing technology for treating refinery wastewater and producing hydrogen via plasma-assisted electrolysis.

NICE  – we support cities in transforming urban spaces in line with circular lifestyle principles. It's our response to socio-economic challenges and a step toward a more sustainable future.

REUSE2030  – we are creating practical tools for SMEs in the mechanical sector in Central Europe to help them implement circular economy principles and adapt to the realities of the green transition.

We are glad to have shared our experience and vision for the future with partners working toward a safer and more sustainable Baltic Sea Region.
