Rafał Łukasik, PhD is currently the Senior Researcher and Head of Biofuels & Bioproducts R&D Area in Unit of Bioenergy of LNEG. His main interest is implementation of biorefineries and their socio-economic impacts. He has a long-lasting experience in acting as the external expert to numerous international and European financing agencies as well as reviewer of almost 900 manuscripts. He is the author of more than 100 papers in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals. Additionally, he edited 2 books, he is a co-author of 12 book chapters, inventor of 1 world and 5 national patents.

Professor Matyushenko actively participates in scientific studies on assessing the prospect of high technology development in the world and Ukraine. He has authored more than 200 scientific papers in national and international journals (United Kingdom, Germany, USA, Poland), including 40 monographs, more than 150 articles in scientific editions.
