Modular controller for laboratory reactor pressure systems

Start date:2017-04-27
Completion date:2018-08-31
Project status:finished
Topic:Digitalisation
Aim of the project:To develop a modular controller for laboratory reactor pressure systems, customizable by its users.

About the project

The controller was adapted for three types of reactors:

- standard systems with mechanical stirrer

- systems with electromagnetic stirrer,

- glass reactors.

The automated regulation is responsible for controlling the reactor parameters such as temperature, pressure, mixing speed, heating and cooling intensity, and, depending on user requirements, allows for adding other parameters (data from additional, customizable ports). All parameters are freely configurable by the operator within the limits of hardware capabilities. In addition, the built-in controller is able to set operational alerts, control the system over the Internet, as well as acquire and store the research data.

The project is financed by European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Program, Measure 2.3.2 Vouchers for innovations for SMEs.
