RIC Pro-Akademia took part in a session on the role of clean and renewable energy and energy efficiency in mitigating climate change. Maksymilian Kochański presented our experience in implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of a large-scale behavioural project provoking energy saving activities. Based on the experience of the "Step by step commitment for Energy savings" project, he pointed out that it is possible to reduce energy consumption in the community only by using messages that trigger social pressure.

The UN climate summits, i.e. so called COP (Conference of the Parties) are global conferences, in the course of which action for climate policy is negotiated. COP sessions take place every year. Over 30,000 delegates from around the world participated in COP24 in Katowice.
