International activities

International partnership

The main aim of our activities is to foster balanced development of the world, especially Europe, through transnational and interregional cooperation. Initiatives undertaken are designed to strengthen economic and social cooperation between people in different countries in order to provide exchange of best experiences, as well as transfer of knowledge and technologies.

Our area of interest is defined in the wide context of sustainable development. We implement multilateral projects promoting both entrepreneurship and environment protection.

Our prime instance is the project titled ”Polish-Norwegian Partnership for Sustainable Bioenergy Development of the Lodz Voivodship – Bioenergy for the Region”, cofinanced by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

We welcome partners to work with us in the framework of  the European interregional cooperation policy for the years 2007-2013!

Export support

Our objective is to improve the image of Poland as an attractive economic partner, as a place where good trade contacts may be made, and as a place good for investments, economic activity and development of tourist services.

Economic missions, market analyses, export supporting trainigs and consulting are organised by the AEC Pro-Akademia in accompliance with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standards and are co-financed by the EU or State Funds or by the "Support to Polish Exports" Fund managed by the AEC Pro-Akademia.

Particularly we aim to support the Polish exporters in reaching new markets of the Developing Counries and those which are currently under social-economic transformation.

Development Assistance

Development assistance is a response of developed countries to the problem of poverty that a considerable number of countries in the 21st century face. Poor countries are not capable of developing solely on their own, therefore they rely on assistance offered by other countries and international institutions.

The overcoming of the global development gap is a challenge for today. Hunger and poverty problems require global solutions on the one hand, and the individual involvement of each state on the other.

Official Development Assistance (ODA) consists of donations and loans granted to developing countries by official government institutions of donor states or international organisations whose aim is to support the economic development and well-being of those countries. Loans are qualified as Official Development Assistance only when they include a donation part in the amount constituting at least 25% of the assistance value.

Donations and loans for military purposes are not qualified as Official Development Assistance. Another condition for classifying assistance as Official Development Assistance is the inclusion of the beneficiary country in the list determined by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC).

The basic forms of development assistance include: assistance in cash, assistance in kind and technical assistance.

Since 2005 we have been implementing numerous development assistance projects, which have been adressed in particular to the countries taking part in the European Neighbourhood Policy, i.e. Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

For Polonia

Thanks to the support provided by the Polish Upper House of the Parliament - the Senate, we have conducted several projects aimed at strengthening Polish organisations and individuals, both young leaders and old veterans. The needs of the groups we help are completely dissimilar, that is why we look for different ways of support.

For instance, for the young people we organise the "Summer School of Enterpreneurship and Polish Language" which is held once a year since 2003.

For the old Poles living in the East, on Christmas we send humanitarian aid - food, medecines, clothes, etc.
