Abstract

Contemporarily the idea of Open Innovation is a new paradigm for creating innovative strategy for companies. A visible growth of amount of people with higher education and increase of education level causes a greater accessibility of capital of specialist knowledge out of boundaries of scientific institutes, laboratories or research centres of great concerns. Changing economic environment forces the employees’ life-long learning processes and their migration between disciplines and entities. The idea of Open Innovation is realized not only as a combination of inner and outer knowledge ad ideas, but also as a form of creating new technologies, processes and products. The goal of the article is analysis and evaluation of usage of innovative resources implemented by Polish and foreign companies
