CBI Pro-Akademia

Plagiarism firewall

Acta Innovations promotes scientific excellence, ethical standards and protection of intellectual property. In order to improve the publishing process and for the sake of adherence to the highest standards of scientific excellence, as well as copyright laws, RIC Pro-Akademia as publisher of Acta Innovations, has implemented anti-plagiarism system Plagscan as a tool for analysing the originality of manuscripts. According to the decision of the Editorial Board of Acta Innovations all scientific articles submitted after 1 November 2015 are subject to review in Plagscan.

Plagscan is used by more than 1,000 scientific institutions around the world, such as Free University of Berlin and the Fraunhofer Society. Articles are transmitted through an encrypted connection (256-bit-SSL) using a secure https protocol and analyzed for the presence of plagiarism with billions of electronic documents.

The task “Maintenance of the anti-plagiarism system” is being financed by an agreement 605/P-DUN/2018 from the resources of Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education dedicated to the activity popularising the science.
