AMEY provides facilities management for public sector. Services vary from site to site depending upon the site and the requirements, but typically include: energy and utilities management, health and safety, environmental management, front of house reception/ switchboard services, planned and reactive maintenance of building m&eplant and fabric, security (both manned guarding and mechanical or electronic measures), copying and printing, cleaning, fire safety, vending, landscaping, waste management, pest control and mail room and porter.

The Technology Solutions Centre (TSC) forms part of Amey’s Consulting Division and provides whole life support in the delivery of technology systems to support operations across the business and with external clients. This includes the development, installation and support of asset information and management systems in Amey contracts. TSC has a significant strength in the specification, procurement, development, integration and support of technology systems used to deliver information and security systems for public infrastructure. This includes the development of software used to provide passenger information at railway stations and airports, as well as electronic channels such as the internet. TSC has design the architecture and developed EMMOS. Other projects TSC has completed include the development of a database system to monitor many thousands of assets at all one hundred stations on London Underground’s Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines.
